Our On-Site Brewery

Welcome to Saint Monday Brewery!

We love our music heavy, our riffs crushing and our beers crisp and balanced!

Our mission is simple -  make delicious beer that is focussed on quality ingredients and traditional flavours, reminiscent of the forefathers from the golden age of craft brewing and evoking the values of the crushing riffs of Heavy Metal.

Beer that stands the test of time, pint after pint, year after year, no hype, no trends, just drinkability!

our history in beer and Metal however doesn’t start in brewing beer. In 2009 we opened our first site, the now imfamous Black Heart, music venue and bar, based upon the exact same foundations as our brewery, great beer with great bands!

Our plan was, get the best beer on tap that we could find, the heaviest bands to play the venue and make a home for our subculture. We got that and more, all the way from putting on massive multi venue metal fests, to having our heroes in Crowbar, Elder and many more perform in our tiny venue.

Next, we opened a collection of local craft beer spots around North and East London, each bar being tied together by a thread of good beer, strong community focus and good music, all while having their own individual identity. All the way from our classic pub The Earl of Essex in Islington, to everybody’s favourite Dalston dive bar Red Hand and beyond.

When we got the opportunity to open our own brewery, we knew we had to take it back to our roots, that real Heavy Metal spirit that never left our hearts and so Saint Monday brewery was born!

Already we’ve been very fortunate to work with some of our heroes and friends.

From legends such as Green Lung, Conan and Triptykon to killer breweries and distilleries such as Holy Goat, Superstition and Devil’s Botany, with many more in the pipe line!
